As most of you know, I detest shopping! The mere thought of it makes me cringe. I just can’t seem to get out of it altogether because Birthdays pop up yearly, Holidays come along and well, where do I find myself? At the store.
When BlogHer asked if I would like to be sent a $25 gift card to be spent freely at HomeGoods, I jumped on it. If I HAVE to go shopping, I go to HomeGoods! How did they know that? I was all over it. Last weekend, the Hub and I had a free day to shop without the kids, thanks to our in-laws. We set out to HomeGoods. What I like about that store is that you can really find something for everyone. My sister happens to live in that store and I’m surprised I didn’t bump into her there. Back to the task at hand…
I had $25 bucks to spend and too many things to choose from. I pondered over the baskets, the linens, the throws, the kids stuff but finally I spotted a blue chair. Not just any blue chair now. It would add just the right pop of color and charm up pictures left and right. I was psyched. Here is the cutie patootie:
Isn’t it darling? It has great texture too:
I’m so happy about my little find that just happened to be priced at $24.99. It is perfection!

it’s the best store ever. actually, i’m about 60 seconds away on my lunch hour. and then of course, there’s MegaMarshalls/Homegoods which i’m also about a minute from when i’m at home. i still can’t understand how anyone can spend hours in the mall! and now i feel like i really died and went to heaven because not only is Homegoods 60 seconds away, but Dollar Tree opened right next door to it! even the ladies IN Homegoods are excited. i know, it’s silly, but it’s the little things…
